Below you will find a few simple tips and videos that will help you navigate our website, select the correct shower seal and fit it to your shower door. We are updating this section all the time with new videos and information based on customer feedback.

When you contact us, to give us the best chance to help please attach clear End On photos of the seal(s) and measurements you are trying to replace and a few general photos of the enclosure, door or screen that the seals go on.

If you are at a complete loss, simply post us a small sample of your existing seal (only enough so that we can see the profile/shape of the seal) and include your details including a phone number and email address. We will then contact you the day it arrives with any possible solutions and will normally advise some samples so you can test them out where possible.

• Check your glass thickness and select the category closest to your glass size.
• You will see some categories have cross overs in sizes. For example, if your glass is 6mm thick you could select the 4-6mm category or the 6-8mm category. There is no right or wrong category to select, but as a rule of thumb 4-6mm seal would provide a tighter fit to the glass if you like to leave the seal in position, where as 6-8mm would provide a slightly looser fit if you like to remove the seals regularly to clean for example.
• If you are unsure which size you prefer and suitable seals are available in both categories please order samples of each to check which is better for you. If you glass is 6mm thick, it is more likely the 4-6mm seals will fit best but it won't always be the case.
• Your new seal needs to be a little bigger than the gap between the bottom edge of the door and the top edge of the bath or shower tray to ensure it creates a good seal. However, please note if you have a threshold (normally a chrome bar on a shower, but rarely seen on baths) that the door opens and closes over, we would advise you to go no more than 1-2mm maximum, bigger than the minimum gap from the bottom of the door to the top of the threshold or the fin on the seal could tear.
• Check the gaps at both ends of the screen as they can drop over time meaning that you may have a gap at one end far bigger than the other.
• If you have a curved door you will need to use one of our pre curved seals. These are suitable for curves of up to 90mm radius at 850mm long (see pre curved seal page with how to measure this). If your curve measures outside the max dimensions shown on the listing page please contact us as we will able to curve the seal to order for you.

• When fitting the seals to glass doors you need to start at one end and push the seal up on to the glass. Do not try to slide the seal along the glass as this can damage it.
• Please do not add any lubricant as this will mean the seal is likely to pop off again.
• You can soften the seal slightly be leaving it in hot (not boiling) water for a few minutes or warming with a hairdryer before you fit it.
• When looking for your new seal, try to pick based on your measurements, not the look of the seal. There are many different designs that all do the same job, but the most important thing is that it fits correctly and seals your gap. • Take your time to measure the channel that the seal slides in to. The channel may be bigger than the seal which will give you more options to pick from when looking for a replacement.
